Luther gains building and public procurement lawyer Dr Stephan Götze as a Partner for its Berlin office

Berlin – On 1 April 2021, Dr Stephan Götze (50) will join the Berlin office of Luther Rechtsanwaltsgesellschaft as a Partner. The lawyer and certified specialist in building and architectural law previously worked as Counsel for Baker McKenzie in Berlin. At Luther, he will strengthen the Real Estate practice and share above all his experience in private building law and in acting as an advisor to the public sector.

The focus area of Dr Stephan Götze’s services is providing building and public procurement law advice to diverse stakeholders, including private investors and the public sector, with a particular emphasis on contracting and on rendering advice on the procurement and negotiation of building contracts. He also represents his clients in court and arbitration proceedings regarding supply and service contracts.

The experienced building law expert has already advised the public sector, including Flughafen Berlin Brandenburg GmbH, on the planning and conception of several large construction projects in Germany.

Dr Stephan Götze obtained his doctorate from the University of Bayreuth. He commenced his career as a lawyer at Sibeth in 2005 and then moved to HFK in Berlin, where he was later promoted to Partner. In 2014, he moved to Baker McKenzie.
