Once again, German law firm Luther is expanding its Environment, Planning and Regulatory (EPR) practice group, bringing in two well-known experts: Starting 01 August 2015, Dr. Martin Fleckenstein (56) and his longstanding colleague Dr. Rut Herten-Koch (43) will be joining Luther’s Berlin office as Partners. This means the EPR practice group is growing to 18 attorneys nationwide.
Dr. Martin Fleckenstein and Dr. Rut Herten-Koch are a practiced team from the real estate practice SammlerUsinger in Berlin. Their clients include national and international companies, investors and project developers as well as real estate associations and government entities and public bodies which have been advised successfully for many years in all areas of real estate law and related fields, in particular in development planning, negotiation of urban development contracts, regulatory issues, and in awarding public contracts.
Dr. Martin Fleckenstein on the move: "With 10 locations in Germany, a strong practice group and a successful real estate law team in Berlin, Luther offers ideal conditions for us. This allows us to not only continue to provide expert support to our clients in Berlin but also to be even closer to our nationwide operating clients. This benefits our clients in particular. We thus expect a significant boost for our activities and are looking forward to meeting our new colleagues."
Dr. Rut Herten-Koch: "I am very much looking forward to joining Luther's large and dynamic team of administrative lawyers. Networking with colleagues in other locations and the outstanding expert knowledge in the public sector create excellent conditions for advising my existing clients as well es for expanding my practice for procurement law."
Dr. Stefan Kobes, manager of the Environment, Planning and Regulatory (EPR) practice group for Luther, Berlin: "Dr. Fleckenstein and Dr. Herten-Koch will be of great value for us in a highly dynamic real estate market. Both have been involved in numerous prominent projects and have an excellent network, including the real estate and the public sectors. We are thus looking forward to a successful cooperation with Dr. Fleckenstein and Dr. Herten-Koch."
