A total of six partners strengthen the team of Luther Lawfirm as of July. Dr Stefanie Hellmich, Achim Braner, Steffen Häberer and Martin Steuber have been appointed as partners from their own ranks. Nadine Bourgeois joins the Capital Markets & Banking division in Frankfurt and Dr Sebastian Janka heads the Antitrust Division in Munich.

With Dr Stefanie Hellmich (IT law, FinTech, data protection law), Achim Braner (employment law) and the procurement lawyers Steffen Häberer (broadband, 5G, infrastructure) and Martin Steuber (real estate, in particular tenders and procurement strategy consulting in the university hospital sector), four lawyers who have been with Luther for a long time have been appointed partners.

In addition, Nadine Bourgeois strengthens the Capital Markets & Banking division as a partner at Luther's Frankfurt office. She has advised on corporate, acquisition and real estate financing as well as restructuring since the beginning of her legal career. Her clients include lenders (credit institutions and alternative lenders) as well as companies and private equity funds. She was previously a partner at Norton Rose Fulbright.

Dr. Sebastian Janka will move from Noerr to Luther and will head the antitrust practice in Munich. His practice focuses on all aspects of German and European antitrust law, in particular national and international transactional antitrust law as well as antitrust proceedings, dawn raids, compliance and internal investigations.

Only in May, a six-member investment fund team headed by Achim Pütz moved from Dechert to Luther in order to establish alternative investment advice.

"With these new acquisitions and internal promotions, we are consistently pursuing the goal of building up and expanding our expertise in the individual industries and areas of law. The acquisition of three external partners from renowned companies with excellent market positions confirms that we are on the right track with our strategy," comments Elisabeth Lepique, Managing Partner at Luther. "And we are particularly pleased that another four colleagues have developed into partners internally thanks to their extraordinary commitment and their great success in working on mandates," adds Dr. Markus Sengpiel, also Managing Partner at Luther.
