Luther advises international financial investor Aurelius on acquisition of Hüppe Group

Frankfurt a.M. – Luther Rechtsanwaltsgesellschaft comprehensively advised Aurelius on the takeover of one of Europe's leading suppliers of construction and sanitary materials. In addition to Luther, seven further international law firms from the relevant European markets were involved in the transaction on the part of Aurelius: Fidal (France), Garrigues (Spain), Gün + Partners (Turkey), PRK Partners (Czech Republic), DZP (Poland), Lydian (Belgium) and Fender Advocaten (Netherlands).

With this transaction, Luther supported the growth strategy of the international Aurelius Group, which consists in handling divestment processes of large multinational groups. Hüppe GmbH is a leading European manufacturer of shower enclosures, shower trays, wall panels and bathroom accessories; it employs around 470 people at two production sites in Germany and Turkey as well as six European sales companies.

The transaction is expected to be completed in April 2021 and is subject to approval by the antitrust authorities. The parties have agreed not to disclose the financial details.
