Background

"With Dr. Jerczynski, we are gaining an expert in court and arbitration proceedings who brings industry expertise as well as experience in managing non-legal projects. He not only complements the Complex Disputes team, but is also an excellent fit for Luther's strategy of providing industry-oriented, cross-sector advice," said Dr Stephan Bausch, co-head of the Complex Disputes practice group at Luther Rechtsanwaltsgesellschaft.

Dr Marco Jerczynski has also led non-legal projects at Vaillant - a family-owned company with around 15,000 employees worldwide - including the introduction of a performance management system to optimise processes in the legal department. Most recently, he oversaw a group-wide project to introduce contract management software.

Before joining Vaillant Group, Dr Marco Jerczynski worked from 2010 to 2017 at Baker & McKenzie in Düsseldorf in the Dispute Resolution department, where he focused on advising and representing national and international companies, primarily from the technology and plant engineering industry, in out-of-court and (arbitration) court matters.

Dr Marco Jerczynski studied law at the Christian Albrechts University in Kiel and received his doctorate from the Westphalian Wilhelms University in Münster. He was admitted to the bar in 2010.
