31.05.2023
Stuttgart, 31.05.2023 – With effect as of the beginning of the year, the Ulm-based Noerpel Group acquired 100 % of the shares in logistics company ERKA from Stuttgart. The seller was advised by Luther Rechtsanwaltsgesellschaft in the course of the transaction.
With the sale to the Noerpel Group, ERKA reaches a forward-looking solution and secures the succession of the successful founder and entrepreneur Erich Klaschka. The Noerpel Group is strengthening its market position in Europe, further expanding its international transport business and continuing to grow in the import and export sector. Through the integration of ERKA, these goals will now be achieved together.
The acquisition results from a longstanding partnership between the two companies that has existed for years. All employees as well as the management of ERKA will be retained.
A Luther team from Stuttgart, Munich and Hanover advised ERKA on the transaction.
The definitive agreements for the acquisition of ERKA by the Noerpel Group were signed on 16 May 2023. The transaction is still subject to the approval of the antitrust authorities.
