In addition to providing legal advice on an ongoing basis to national and international companies of various sizes and in different lines of business, Thomas Krempl specialises in providing transaction advice in the fields of corporate and tax law with respect to share and asset deals (buy-side and sell-side) and restructurings. A further focus of his work is offering assistance with reorganisations; in this area, he has advised various banks and banking syndicates. Thomas Krempl also provides advisory services with respect to management issues, stock option plans for employees, company pension plans and the structuring of MBO/LBO and outsourcing models.
Thomas Krempl studied law and business administration at the Munich Ludwig Maximilian University in Germany and was admitted to the bar in 1989. In 1991, he passed his accountancy exams. He has also been a specialist lawyer in employment law since 1994. From 1989 to 2005, he worked for the multi-disciplinary law firm Haarmann Hemmelrath & Partner before joining the Munich office of the law firm Taylor Wessing as a partner in the corporate department. Thomas Krempl has been a partner with Luther's Munich office since January 2010.
