Laura Katharina Kues primarily advises on matters relating to unfair competition and trademark law and other areas of IP law (e.g. patent law, design law, anti-counterfeiting law) and telecommunications law.

Laura Katharina studied law at Johannes Gutenberg University in Mainz (Germany) and at the University of Bologna (Italy). After completing her studies and before carrying out her legal training, she worked for a non-governmental organisation in Tansania. As part of her legal training, she then worked for an international business law firm in Frankfurt am Main (Germany) and for an American law firm in New York (USA). Laura Katharina Kues passed her second state law exam in the autumn of 2017.
