Judith Schommartz advises and represents companies in complex business law matters, including in cross-border matters. She represents her clients in and out of court in disputes pertaining to banking and capital markets law as well as to commercial, corporate and real estate law, amongst other things.
Judith Schommartz additionally advises her clients on corporate law issues, national and international mergers and acquisitions (M&A), and the reorganisation of companies and groups of companies.
Judith Schommartz studied law at the Bucerius Law School in Hamburg (Germany) and at the Cardozo School of Law in New York (USA). As part of her legal training at the Higher Regional Court of Hamburg, she also worked in Spain and Argentina. Judith Schommartz was conferred her Master of Laws (LL.M.) in New York (USA) and is licensed to practice as an Attorney-at-Law in the State of New York (USA). Before joining Luther, she worked in the restructuring department of an international business consultancy firm.
