Johannes Müller advises companies on matters pertaining to commercial and insolvency law. In addition, he also specialises in organising and handling mass litigation proceedings.
His clients include companies of all sizes, in particular, companies in the energy industry, medium-sized energy-intensive companies, companies in the beer and drinks industry and public-sector companies.
In the field of commercial and distribution law, Johannes Müller specialises in drafting commercial contracts and general terms and conditions, resolving commercial disputes outside the courts, as well as asserting and defending claims in legal proceedings.
Johannes Müller set the course for his future career in business law already whilst studying law at the University of Bayreuth (Germany). As part of an integrated study programme, he acquired knowledge in the fields of business administration and economics, in addition to knowledge of the law.
His legal training included working in energy law in a large audit and consultancy firm. Moreover, he also gained international legal knowledge by spending some time working in the Emirate of Dubai, where he advised companies on commercial and corporate law issues.
Johannes Müller was admitted to the German Bar in 2018 and joined Luther the same year. As a secondee working in the legal departments of two large energy groups, he dealt with energy-specific commercial and insolvency law issues.
