Dr Lajana von zur Gathen studied law at the Free University of Berlin (Germany) and did her doctorate whilst working as a research assistant at the Chair for Civil and Business Law. She carried out her legal training at the Higher Regional Court of Berlin, which inter alia included training periods at the German Federal Chancellery and in an internationally operating business law firm.
