Christian Hoffmann

Christian Hoffmann advises on all matters pertaining to trademark, competition and copyright law. He focuses his legal practice on advising domestically and globally operating companies on the development, maintenance and enforcement of extensive trademark portfolios, with a particular emphasis on the international positioning of trademarks and their licensing and defence in both official and judicial proceedings. This includes advising clients comprehensively on application and opposition proceedings before the German and European Trademark Offices, the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) and the German Federal Patent Court.

IP & Copyright Law

Christian Hoffmann studied law at the Universities of Passau and Münster (both Germany). During his legal training at the Higher Regional Court of Celle (Germany), he inter alia worked for an international commercial law firm in the areas of IP and IT law. Before joining Luther in 2022, Christian Hoffmann worked as an IP/IT lawyer in a German commercial law firm.
