Völckers & Cie becomes part of Avison Young

Founded in 1996, Völckers & Cie specializes in the letting of office space and investments in commercial real estate. Avison Young was founded in 1978 in Toronto and is also an owner-managed real estate consulting firm with 124 locations worldwide, five of them in Germany.

As a result of the merger, Völckers & Cie benefits from the global network as well as from the expanded service centre. The managing directors and founding shareholders of Völckers & Cie have transferred their shares to Avison Young and become principals (partners) of the same. A team from Luther Lawfirm led by partner Dr Jörgen Tielmann legally represented the shareholders of Völckers & Cie GmbH.
