Joschka Pietzsch acts as a legal advisor and litigator in all areas of individual and collective employment law. In addition, he advises on social security law issues and provides assistance during procedures that serve the purpose of determining whether a person is to be classified as an employee (Statusfeststellungsverfahren) and during audits (Betriebsprüfungen) conducted by Deutsche Rentenversicherung, the German statutory pension insurance scheme. Furthermore, he deals with all tax issues arising in connection with employment and service relationships.
Joschka Pietzsch studied law at the University of Kiel (Germany). After successfully completing his legal training at the Higher Regional Court of Schleswig-Holstein (Germany), he was admitted to the German Bar in 2017. Joschka Pietzsch started his career as a lawyer in a medium-sized law firm in Kiel, where he primarily provided employment and tax law advice. In 2018, he successfully completed a training course in employment law for lawyers as a step towards becoming a certified specialist in employment law. Joschka Pietzsch joined Luther in 2019.
