Review: Entrepreneur evening Portus Corporate Finance on November 21, 2019 in Berlin

A corporate finance event is shown, featuring a group of professionals posing together, with a presentation on a screen in the background. The setting is elegantly decorated, with tables for dining and an audience engaged in the presentation. Logos for Portus Corporate Finance and Luther are visible.

Last Thursday, it was time again that Portus Corporate Finance and Luther Rechtsanwaltsgesellschaft mbH Berlin invited in a pleasant atmosphere at the Weinhaus Habel to look beyond the horizon.

Background

With excellent food on long tables, the aim this time was to overcome the reluctance towards the digitalisation of the capital investment market. Christian Platzer led from the beginning to visions of the future through the concept around the topic of tokenization and the Security Token Offering (STO). As Managing Director and founder of Black Manta Capital Partners with offices in Berlin, Luxembourg, Malta and Vienna, he put critical questions about the risks, advantages and opportunities of the business model, with which Black Manta offers a multitude of complex individual processes from a single source – Tokenization as a service. With the support of Luther, Black Manta developed the BaFin license for a multi-STO platform last year. During the lively discussion, it became clear that there is still much to do and to observe in the coming years, but that it will pay out to be open to developments.

The Berlin Corporate Team would like to thank the more than 80 guests and all contributors for the great evening.
