Luther recruits transactions expert Dr Christian Rodorff for its Munich office

Dr Christian Rodorff (41) has enhanced the M&A team as a partner at Luther Lawfirm. The expert in M&A transactions and private equity was most recently employed with King & Wood Mallesons in Munich and brings with him an extensive network of contacts in the private equity sector.

Dr Christian Rodorff (41) has enhanced the M&A team as a partner at Luther Lawfirm. The expert in M&A transactions and private equity was most recently employed with King & Wood Mallesons in Munich and brings with him an extensive network of contacts in the private equity sector.

Christian has broad expertise in various types of M&A deals and private equity transactions (eg. LBOs, management buy-outs as well as minority investments, financing rounds and venture capital). Moreover he advises domestic and international clients on joint ventures, reorganisations and in corporate law.

Dr Thomas Kuhnle, head of Mergers & Acquisitions team at Luther, regarding the change: "Dr Rodorff will in particular enhance our practice in advising Mid-Cap-PE transactions – a sector that we wish to expand further in this growing market. This also applies especially for consultation of PE investors."

About Dr Rodorff

Christian graduated in law at the University of Muenster where he also earned his Ph.D (Dr. jur.) and an Executive Master of Business Administration degree (EMBA). Furthermore he gained a Master of Laws degree (LL.M) from the University of the West of England, Bristol.

He was admitted as German Attorney-at-Law (Rechtsanwalt) in 2009. Prior to joining Luther as partner in 2017, Christian practised at leading German and international law firms and a Big4 accounting firm – approximately 6.5 years with P+P Pöllath + Partners and most recently with King & Wood Mallesons as counsel in Munich.
