Edouard Albaret focuses on matters related to investment management, corporate, finance and contractual law as well as data protection. He has extensive experience advising in particular asset managers, financial service providers, and credit institutions on setting up Luxembourg regulated and unregulated investment and securitization vehicles. His experience includes regulatory, corporate, contractual and organizational aspects of the structuring, ongoing operations and winding-up of investment vehicles, investments managers, management companies and professionals of the financial sector. His practice also encompasses advice on transactions, structured finance and data protection.
Edouard Albaret obtained a Master of Laws in Business Law (DJCE) from the School of Law in the University of Rennes. He obtained a LL.M. in international business law from the School of Law in the University of Exeter (UK). He was admitted to the Luxembourg Bar in 2012 after having practiced several years as a legal adviser. Prior to joining Luther in 2018, he worked as Investment Funds lawyer for renowned international and independent law firms in Luxembourg.
