Volkan Top studied law in Heidelberg and Mannheim (both Germany) with an emphasis on corporate and capital markets law and private international law. He carried out his legal training at the Higher Regional Court of Karlsruhe (Germany), which included completing a training period in an international business law firm in Frankfurt am Main (Germany), amongst others. In addition, he worked as a research assistant for lawyers at the German Federal Court of Justice in Karlsruhe and in a renowned business law firm in Stuttgart (Germany). Volkan Top is a member of the German Bar and has worked for Luther’s Capital Markets, Banking & Finance team since 2017. He is working on his doctorate on a topic relating to stock corporation law in the field of corporate litigation.
