Christoph Schnoor advises on all matters pertaining to environmental law, with an emphasis on climate protection law (emissions trading, energy and electricity tax law, and the German Renewable Energy Sources Act), immission control law, water and waste law, and environmental compliance.
Christoph Schnoor was born in Flensburg (Germany) in 1987. He studied law at the University of Kiel (Germany) until 2014 and carried out his legal training at the Higher Regional Court of Schleswig-Holstein (Germany). Christoph Schnoor currently works on his doctoral thesis in environmental criminal law, on the topic of “Confiscation of assets under the German Federal Immission Control Act for operating plants without authorisation”. Christoph Schnoor started working at Luther in 2017 and was admitted to the German Bar in 2018.
