Yelena Bonzel advises on regulatory and contract law issues in the field of energy law, in particular, legal issues regarding renewable energy sources and hydrogen projects. In addition, she also provides project financing advice from an energy law perspective.
Yelena Bonzel studied law at Ludwig Maximilian University in Munich (Germany) and also spent a semester studying abroad at the University of Helsinki (Finland). As part of her legal training, she worked at the German Embassy in Den Haag (the Netherlands) and in a commercial law firm in Dusseldorf (Germany), among others.
Yelena Bonzel was admitted to the German Bar in 2021 and joined Luther in 2024. Before moving to Luther, she worked in the energy law department of an international commercial law firm in Cologne (Germany).
