Sonja Dettling

Sonja Dettling advises on German and international commercial and distribution law, as well as on distribution antitrust law. She drafts and negotiates all commercial contracts along the supply chain, such as purchase, supply and service agreements. She further advises on the law governing general terms and conditions and also represents clients in judicial and extra-judicial disputes.

Sonja Dettling studied law with an emphasis on commercial and business law at the University of Freiburg (Germany) and, as part of an Erasmus semester, at Pompeu Fabra University in Barcelona (Spain). She then carried out her legal training in the district of the Higher Regional Court of Stuttgart (Germany). Sonja Dettling joined Luther as a lawyer in 2023.

• Advising a technology company on an ongoing basis on contract law issues, in particular in connection with purchase and cooperation agreements
• Advised a service provider on the conclusion of service agreements with subcontractors
• Provided judicial representation to a consulting firm in connection with a claim arising from the payment of a purchase price

• Calculation of the commercial agent’s indemnity in the case of one-off commission payments
