Esma Koc-Agca advises domestic and international companies in particular on matters related to VAT, trade tax, corporate income and income tax.

Tax Law

After successfully completing her vocational training and then returning to school and passing her “Wirtschaftsabitur” examinations, Esma Koc-Agca studied business administration with an emphasis on tax consultancy and auditing, graduating with a Bachelor’s degree in 2021.

From August 2019 to August 2020, she worked as an “IT Applications Excel” tutor at the THM University of Applied Sciences in Gießen (Germany), and from August 2019 to October 2021 as an assistant to the Dean at the Department of Business and additionally as a tutor for the “Fundamentals of Business Administration - Logistics” module at the THM. Furthermore, from November 2021 to March 2023, as a second job, Esma Koc-Agca worked as a research assistant at the THM Department of Business.

Before joining Luther in August 2023, Esma Koc-Agca held consultant positions at various auditing firms, both in EMEIA FSO-Indirect Tax and in Banking-Corporate Tax, from November 2021 to July 2023.
