Dr Mona Schnaittacher

Dr Mona Schnaittacher primarily advises on matters pertaining to compliance and quality risk management.

Dr Mona Schnaittacher studied law at the University of Cologne (Germany) and then worked as a research assistant at the Faculty of Law of the University of Cologne, where she earned her PhD in law. After successfully completing her legal training in Cologne, which also included a training period with the US-American law firm Brown & Wood (today, Sidley Austin) in New York (USA), she commenced her professional career as a lawyer in 1999 with Andersen Legal (today, Luther Rechtsanwaltsgesellschaft mbH), the legal branch of Arthur Andersen, one of the former “Big Five” accounting firms.

During her 13 years with Andersen/Luther, Mona Schnaittacher primarily advised on corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, public business law, privatisations, reorganisations, private and public investment projects, and the formation of strategic and operational partnerships in the private and public sector. In 2012, Mona Schnaittacher started her own law firm with a special emphasis on corporate law and on mergers and acquisitions (M&A).

Mona Schnaittacher joined Luther again in 2020.
