Adrian Freidank

As a lawyer and certified specialist in IT law, Adrian Freidank advises national and international clients on all matters pertaining to information technology (IT), copyright and data protection law. His specialist areas include, inter alia, IT outsourcing, IT projects, e-commerce, IT contracts and data protection, including implementing data protection compliance at companies. Another area of interest is property technology (PropTech) and the use of block chain technology for offline applications. He lectures and publishes on IT and data protection law issues.

Future Work

Adrian Freidank studied law in Trier (Germany), Lausanne (Switzerland) and Münster (Germany). After finishing university and before commencing his legal training, he worked for an international NGO in Nepal in the area of peace building. In 2014, Adrian Freidank started to work as a lawyer for a business law firm that specialised in IT law, where he was certified as a specialist in IT law in 2017. He joined Luther in 2017 and, in 2019, received the Wirtschaftswoche Award “TOP lawyer IT law 2019”.
