Key areas of Mr. Shao's practice include negotiating or acting as an agent ad litem for dispute settlements in various fields for European clients engaged in investment and trading in China. He specialises in capital market law as well as cross-border M&A. Furthermore, he advises Chinese investors on their investments and IPOs in Germany and other European markets.
Shao Wanlei studied law at Nanjing University, PRC, and Georg-August-University of Göttingen, Germany, and has received LL.M. degrees from both universities. He was admitted to the Chinese bar and started to practise as an attorney-at-law in 1994. From 2000 until 2006 he worked for the representative office of a German law firm in Shanghai. In 2007 he founded Luther Attorneys as the Managing Partner in Shanghai.
