Raymond Kok advises SMEs and corporations from various industries on the whole spectrum of corporate law and has extensive experience in cross-border M&A transactions and Joint Ventures. He has been particularly active in advising on cross-border corporate restructuring, compliance and directors´ liability, as well as employment matters involving board members, managing directors and executives. In addition to dispute resolution, he also specializes in arbitration.
Raymond Kok has been working as a lawyer in the People's Republic of China since 2008. Prior to joining Luther, he served as partner in a German law firm. He has extensive expertise, particularly in the automotive and exhibition industries. He regularly gives lectures on Chinese business law.
Raymond Kok studied law at the University of Osnabrueck and administrative sciences at the German University of Administrative Sciences Speyer. In 2007 he started his professional career as a lawyer in a German law firm and moved to Shanghai in 2008, where he set up the offices in Shanghai and Taicang for the firm.
