Georg Zander primarily advises on matters pertaining to private building and architects’ law. In addition to acting as a legal advisor during construction and other projects, he also enforces and defends claims in court. Furthermore, he provides advice in the area of construction insurance law.
Georg Zander studied law at the University of Konstanz (Germany). After passing his first state exam, he worked as a research assistant at the Chair of Prof Dr Jochen Glöckner, LL.M., which also included traveling to China to carry out research at Southeast University in Nanjing. Supported by the construction law society Institut für Baurecht Freiburg im Breisgau e.V., Georg Zander wrote his doctoral thesis on a private building law topic, being awarded his doctorate in 2017. As part of his legal training at the Higher Regional Court of Karlsruhe (Germany), he worked in the real estate department of Luther’s Cologne office and at the German Federal Ministry of Justice and Consumer Protection in the department responsible for the law applicable to contracts for work and services.
