Dennis Göbel

Dennis Göbel advises clients on all legal issues in connection with (digital) media and gaming, information technology, artificial intelligence and digitalisation. He focuses his legal practice on media, data protection and copyright law, with special knowledge and expertise in legal matters pertaining to data protection compliance of business models, social media platforms, the metaverse and influencer activities. Dennis Göbel further specialises in advising on the freedom of expression and rights to information. In addition, he advises on the requirements for new business models/processes from a telecommunications law perspective.

Dennis Göbel studied law with a particular focus on media and communications law at the University of Cologne (Germany). After passing his first state law exam, he worked at a law firm that specialised in data protection law. As part of his legal training at the Higher Regional Court of Cologne, Dennis Göbel worked for the broadcasting station Westdeutscher Rundfunk, for the data protection team of an international commercial law firm and for Luther’s IP/IT team, amongst others. Dennis Göbel passed his second state law exam in 2020 and has been working for Luther ever since.
