David Eckner advises clients on all aspects of financial market supervisory law, in particular, investment and asset management law and market conduct and organisation law.
David Eckner studied law in Bochum and Düsseldorf (Germany), London (England) and New York (USA). His legal training at the Higher Regional Court of Düsseldorf included working for a US-American business law firm in Banking & Finance, for a savings bank, and for a fund administrator. Before joining Luther in 2019, David Eckner worked in the financial services advisory department of an audit firm and in the private banking department of a large international bank. David Eckner is a lecturer in Düsseldorf, Liechtenstein and Tilburg (Netherlands) and has authored diverse publications on financial market supervisory law.
