Daniel Lehmann primarily advises on matters pertaining to IT and data protection law. In addition, he frequently deals with licensing issues. His main areas of expertise include all types of software agreements, agreements which are based on the Supplementary Terms of Contract for the Procurement of IT Supplies/Services (EVB-IT), supporting IT start-ups, providing IT outsourcing advice and dealing with e-commerce issues.
After completing his basic military service, Daniel Lehmann studied law at the University of Münster (Germany). Whilst at university, he inter alia trained in a law firm in Los Angeles (USA). After passing his first state exam, he worked in the legal department of a medium-sized IT consultancy firm. His legal training included working in the IT department of the German Federal Financial Supervisory Authority and for the IT/IP team of an international business law firm, amongst others. Daniel Lehmann passed his second state exam in 2017.
