Atacan Cömert, LL.M.

Atacan Cömert has expertise in matters pertaining to the taxation of German and international companies. He specialises in providing transactional tax advice. His services in this area include structuring corporate acquisitions and sales from a tax perspective, carrying out due diligence reviews and advising on restructurings within groups of companies.

Tax Law

Atacan Cömert successfully completed both a Bachelor’s programme and a Master’s programme in business law at Wiesbaden Business School (Germany), with an emphasis on tax and accounting. In 2016, he started his professional career in a large international audit firm in Eschborn/Frankfurt am Main, where he provided transactional tax advice.

He was appointed as tax advisor in March 2019 and joined Luther in September 2019.
