Curriculum vitae

Maria Tarassidis was born in 1986. From 2005 to 2011, she studied law at the University of Leipzig (Germany) and at Aristotle University in Thessaloniki (Greece) with a focus on international public law. Following her first state bar exam, she worked as a research assistant for Luther’s Leipzig office. Maria Tarassidis carried out her legal training at the Higher Regional Court of Berlin (Germany), which included working for, inter alia, the German Federal Foreign Office in Berlin and the Greek Consulate General in New York (USA). Maria Tarassidis joined Luther’s Berlin office in 2015.

Areas of Practice

Maria Tarassidis advises companies, builders, and project developers on public business law, in particular, on all issues pertaining to public real estate and building law. The current focus of her work is on providing advice and assistance in connection with complex planning and approval procedures, with a particular emphasis on zoning law including all relevant ancillary fields of law, such as historic monument protection law, road law, and environmental law, to the extent applicable.
