Dr Philipp Pröbsting was born in 1977. He studied law at the University of Munster, Germany, and also at the University of Paris X Nanterre, France, where he earned the qualificationMaître en droit.. Dr Philipp Pröbsting undertook his legal training in Düsseldorf, Germany. During his doctoral studies he worked for the law firms Bornheim, v. Rosenthal & Koll and Hölters & Elsing (now: Orrick), where he laid the foundations for his present specialisation in building and real estate law. Dr Pröbsting qualified as a specialist lawyer for building and architectural law (Fachanwalt für Bau- und Architektenrecht) in 2012. Most recently, Dr Pröbsting worked for the law firm Kapellmann and Partners in Mönchengladbach, Germany,for approximately six years and joined Luther as a Partner in 2014.
Dr Philipp Pröbsting advises on all matters pertaining to construction and real estate law. He specialises in project consulting and project support but also advises on comprehensive construction litigation. In addition, his main practice areas include real estate transactions and advising on portfolio management. Dr Philipp Pröbsting has vast experience supporting large scale construction projects and industrial projects, especially in industrial plant construction, both nationally and internationally.
- Providing ongoing advice to various construction companies both with regard to the construction phase and also with regard to marketing activities
- Comprehensive claim management for a hospital in the course of the conversion and extension of the hospital, including building a new hospital building
- Advising a large industrial undertaking in the course of the new construction of an assembly line and a recycling centre
- Conducting numerous long-term building proceedings in connection with the demolition of a hospital building
