Johanna Scheele was born in 1973. She was admitted to the bar in 2003. After working for the KNORR Rechtsanwälte AG law firm in Munich from 2003 to 2006, she completed a Master's degree in mediation from the European University Viadrina in Frankfurt an der Oder. She joined Luther in 2007.

Johanna Scheele's area of expertise is individual and collective labor law, including litigation proceedings. Besides drafting contracts and making adjustments and/or terminating employee relationships and duty agreements, her tasks include the implementation of corporate restructuring in accordance with labor law and providing assistance during negotiations to balance interests and determine social benefit plans. She also has experience in alternative conflict resolution methods, particularly in mediation.
