Dr Philipp Pröbsting was born in 1977. He studied law at the University of Munster, Germany, and also at the University of Paris X Nanterre, France, where he earned the qualificationMaître en droit.. Dr Philipp Pröbsting undertook his legal training in Düsseldorf, Germany. During his doctoral studies he worked for the law firms Bornheim, v. Rosenthal & Koll and Hölters & Elsing (now: Orrick), where he laid the foundations for his present specialisation in building and real estate law. Dr Pröbsting qualified as a specialist lawyer for building and architectural law (Fachanwalt für Bau- und Architektenrecht) in 2012. Most recently, Dr Pröbsting worked for the law firm Kapellmann and Partners in Mönchengladbach, Germany,for approximately six years and joined Luther as a Partner in 2014.
Dr Philipp Pröbsting advises on all matters relating to building and architectural law. He focuses on advising projects and drafting contracts and also dealing with comprehensive building litigation. Furthermore, Dr Pröbsting provides real estate law advice in transactions and also with regard to property portfolio management. He has vast experience in supporting large projects, but also as a litigation lawyer. Another area of expertise is copyright and IP law, mainly in connection with architectural law.
